ABOUT GPCA
GPCA was opened in 2002 with the support of parents who sought to create a Chinese school that specialized in Cantonese in the suburb of Philadelphia. GPCA strives to foster a Cantonese environment to allow young people, including ethnic and non-ethnic Chinese, in the United States to become familiar with the Chinese language and to add to the colorful mosaic of a diverse and multi-cultural United States.
Students who attend GPCA come from Philadelphia and towns like Upper Darby, Havertown, Ardmore, Haverford, Radnor, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Villanova, Newtown Square, Media, and West Chester.
The GPCA is an equal opportunity school and does not discriminate in admissions or other educational opportunities on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
The GPCA is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and can receive financial contributions of interested donors. Donations to non-profit organizations are generally deductible for federal income tax purposes (Tuition is not considered a donation). Please consult your accountant for your specific situation.
