Curriculum
Class Assignments½s¯Z:
Assignment to each class is based upon the Chinese language abilities of the student. A student can be placed in a class for the core curriculum and a different class for the conversational and cultural sections. If the parent and the teachers are not in agreement with the placement, then the Principal shall make the final decision. To minimize the interruption of class progress for the students and the teachers, all changes in class assignments shall be completed before October.

Student Progress¾Ç²ß¶i«×³ø§i:
Instead of stressful midterms and exams, GPCA shall utilize ongoing performance assessments to monitor the students' learning progress. Each student shall be evaluated in the following categories: Word Recognition, Conversation, Handwriting, Vocabulary, Grammar, Homework Assignment, Class Participation, Conduct and Attendance etc. His/Her progress shall be reported periodically using the following scores: O=Outstanding; S=Satisfactory; or I=Needs Improvement, and shall be summarized in the Certificate of Completion presented at the graduation ceremony.

Awards¼úÀy:
To encourage the participation of our students, all those who attend all scheduled classes in each semester shall receive the Perfect Attendance Award at the graduation ceremony.
